Generations

I love this picture. It represents dreams come true. GSCS student, Maeve Warner, presents a Community Heroes award to Mr. Bob Gessner, founding principal of Good Shepherd Catholic School when it first opened in 1998. Bob set the standard for many of his successors over the years and he was a great gift to our school.  And, he is still a gift to our community! How moving it is to see generations of students graduating from our school which started out in the late 1990s as a dream of a few parishioners at St. John's Church to restart Catholic education in St. Johnsbury. Congratulations to Mr. Gessner and to all the reward recipients. The impact Good Shepherd has on the local community will remain for generations go come!
