There's good drama and there's bad drama. This photo represents good drama and I love the smile on the girls' faces! Ashley, Marion and Hope had just performed in the children's version of "Into the Woods." They had rehearsed for weeks with Mr. Lamontagne, the drama and music teacher.
One of the joys of childhood is cultivating an imagination. Drama, theater and art do that. Good Shepherd Catholic School strives to produce a musical every year. Even though we are a small school, we want our students to have the opportunity to experience the performing arts. It allows them to learn how to memorize, sing, project their voices, overcome shyness and obtain a certain poise and "stage presence". They look forward to it every year! And, besides, there can never be enough drama at school and we do our best to create it.
