Welcome Back!

September 8, 2008

Look for the monthly "Good News"letter beginning in October, and for now, take a look at some happy students and grandparents who celebrated "Grandparents Day" at Good Shepherd on Friday, September 5th.    Please click below to view some photos...

Grandparents Day was celebrated on Friday, September 5th, just before the 30th anniversary of the national observance on the following Sunday. More than 150 grandparents and "significant elders" joined students during the day's festivities.  A reception for our youngest students and their families was held during the late morning at the Father Joseph Lively Center, home of Good Shepherd's Early Education Program.  Just after noon, Fr. Jon-Daniel Schnobrich celebrated a special prayer and music service with an exuberant, full house at St. John the Evangelist Church, then everyone headed down to the Good Shepherd Catholic School for a reception which included refreshments, entertainment, family photos, classroom tours, and more.
We are continually blessed by the presence of these special people in our lives, and were thrilled to have so many grandparents with us!
