PTGGood Shepherd Catholic School
PTG (Parent - Teacher Group)
The Good Shepherd PTG is an organization made up of members of the school community, including parents, teachers, administration, and friends. The group exists to support a variety of student programs, activities and events with funding and with logistic assistance.
Unable to be a part of the PTG? Continue to be a parent volunteer. The presence of and support from GSCS parents is part of what gives our school such a "homey" feel. Parents offer assistance in a variety of ways, including staff support, delivery and distribution of hot lunches, chaperoning field trips, coaching sports teams, and sharing their God-given talents with students by reading, singing, and offering presentations/demonstrations in their own areas of expertise.
Prior to engaging in any activities with our students, parents/volunteers are required to complete an on-line course called "Shield the Vulnerable" which is offered through the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington.
