SportsGood Shepherd offers two competitive sports programs: soccer in the fall and basketball in the winter. In addition, we offer a 5 week winter sports program for grades 4-8 with choices of skiing, snowboarding or ice skating.
Directions to Area Schools for Away Games:
- Cabot 25 Common Road - Cabot
Take Rt. 2 West for approximately 10 1/2 miles. Turn right onto Vermont Rt. 15 at Joe's Pond, and follow for 5 1/2 miles. Turn left onto Vt. Rt. 215 (Cabot-Walden Road) and follow for 4 miles. As you come down the hill into Cabot, you will see the Rec Field to your right. The gymnasium building is JUST ahead on the left. Travel time from GSCS is about 30 minutes.
- Danville 148 Peacham Rd - Danville
Rt. 2 West to Danville. At blinking light, make a left. You will see a sign for Danville school approximately 1/4 mile ahead. The school is on your right.
Take Route 2 East for 16.7 miles. Turn right onto Oregon Road. After 3 1/2 miles, Oregon Road becomes River Road. Continue for another 2 miles, and you will come into the town of Gilman. Go around the mill in the center of town. The school is on your left at the intersection with Baptist Hill Road. Estimated drive time from GSCS is 35 minutes.
I-91 North to Exit 23. Turn right on US Rt. 5. Turn right on Red Village Rd, and follow for 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Lily Pond Rd, follow for 3 miles. LTS is on the left.
- Monroe NH 77 Woodsville Rd - Monroe, NH
I-91 South to Barnet exit. Turn left. At first stop sign and turn right onto Rt. 5 South. Continue on Rt. 5 south into McIndoe Falls and turn left just before Paul's Whistle Stop Gas Station. Cross the bridge into Monroe, NH. Turn right at the stop sign onto Rt. 135 South. School is 1/2 mile ahead on the left. Travel time from GSCS is approximately 20 minutes.
I-91 North to Exit 23. Turn right off ramp, go across the RR tracks, and make first right on Red Village Road. Follow for 1/2 mile, and make left onto Lily Pond Road. Riverside is on the corner.
Take Rt. 2 West for about 8 miles to Route 15 (turn right at Hastings Store.) Rt. 15 takes a hairpin turn to the left, and at this point, go straight onto Noyestar Road. You will go past a white church on the left, then take the next right (Cahoon Farm Road.) There is a sign for the school at this intersection.
Island Pond 49 Mill St. Ext. - Brighton Take I-91 North toward Newport to exit 23/US 5/VT 114/Lyndonville/East Burke Turn right off ramp onto Memorial Dr. (US 5), left on Depot St. (US 5), right on Main St. (US 5), right on E. Burke Rd. (VT 114 E), right on VT 105, VT 114, right on Mill St then bear right on Mill St. extension. 33.4 mi and approx 49 min.
