Principal’s Weekly LetterFriday, February 5, 2010 We have enjoyed celebrating Catholic Schools Week. We began with our Community Breakfast and an inspiring talk by Deacon Mayo on Monday. During the week, we had many special events including a dress-down day, a human food chain, and a fancy hat day. On Thursday, Deacon and Mrs. Baker came to assembly to talk to us about vocations. Today we were honored to have our Assistant Superintendent, MaryBeth Davidson, visit us for morning assembly and classes. This week has reminded us that we are very fortunate to be part of a Catholic school community. Monday (February 8) is a Winter Sports Day. Students may wear casual clothes on that day. There will be a PTG meeting on Tuesday at 3:30 at the Maple Street building. We will be discussing upcoming events including the Father/Daughter Dance and the Pancake Breakfast. Please be sure that your children have sneakers on gym days and sneakers or shoes on regular school days. If students wear their boots during the day, our floors get wet and dirty. We often have circle time on the rugs, and we want to be sure that they stay as clean as possible. Have a wonderful weekend, Karen
