Principal’s Weekly LetterFriday, December 4, 2009 Our December mornings begin with the lighting of our Advent candles and singing. We also decorate our Jesse tree each day with an ornament that reminds us of the day’s Bible reading. In this very busy season, it is a blessing to begin each day with such peace.
Our Christmas Bazaar is next Saturday, December 12 from 9-2. You should have received a request for cookies for our cookie walk and a form to fill out if you are able to volunteer on that day. We also hope to see you all at the bazaar! Please check the website for details.
Every Friday is gym day at Good Shepherd, and we would like to remind you to be sure that your child wears SNEAKERS on that day.
We will be dismissing at noon this Wednesday. Please remember that there will be no after-school care at the Maple Street school on that day.
Our basketball season has begun. Please check the calendar on the website for game dates, and come out to support our Good Shepherd athletes.
