Principal’s Weekly Letter

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Grandparents’ Day such a wonderful event. 

We enjoyed a prayer service at the church led by Father Pat, and a lovely reception at school.  Parent volunteers led by John Frechette and Jacque Mackay provided a delicious buffet, and Mrs. Edmondson led us in a sing-along.  We had a record crowd, and we spent a great afternoon together visiting classrooms and telling stories.  Special thanks go to our 7^th and 8^th graders who volunteered their time to help with clean-up.
Students in grades 4-8 who are planning to ski during winter sports this year should be sure to send in their signed permission forms by Tuesday, November 24. 
Please remember that we still have coupon books available for sale in the office.  They are filled with valuable coupons for local businesses.  Each book costs $30.00 – all profits will go to support PTG programs.
Basketball practice for girls in grades 4-6 begins Saturday, November 21.  Practice will be held from 11:30 to 1:00.
Don’t forget to send in your food items for the Thanksgiving Feast.  We will be cooking on Monday.
There will be no school on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday next week.
