Principal’s Weekly LetterFriday, November 13, 2009 We did a lot of flag waving this Wednesday for Veteran’s Day. Our entire school lined Main Street to cheer for our veterans as they marched by in the parade, and a number of our classes attended the speeches following the parade. It was a day to remember our many family members and friends in the military and a day to be proud of our school and our country. Don’t miss the wonderful slide show on the “Community” page of the website. There will be no gym classes on Friday, November 20, so that we can use the gym for our Grandparents’ Day celebration. Students should wear their regular dress uniforms (not P.E. uniforms) on that day. We will be ordering poinsettia plants from Caledonia Home Health again this year. Proceeds from the plant sales will support our local Hospice Program. The plants are 6 inch poinsettias with 5-6 flowers per plant and cost $10.00 each. If you would like to purchase poinsettia plants, please send your order to the office with payment. All orders must be received by Monday, November 23. Have a wonderful weekend. Karen
